I like how much lighter than my old Kenmore vacuum this is, which we bought to replace the one that finally died after 15 years. I wish the handle to drag it around was on the top rather than the bottom of the canister, it would be more convenient, since I try not to drag it by the hose. It works really well on my old worn carpet and somewhat refreshes the look as it fluffs it up a bit. It is annoying to have to drag it around, but the handheld section with the rotating brush glides really nicely across the floor as you push it easily. That part doesn’t work so well on bare floors or linoleum, so it’s necessary to switch out to the bare floor attachment to get it to work properly, and it’s pretty impossible to use on carpeted stairs, so I still need a separate stick vacuum for those. Overall, pretty happy with the new model.
